He was predeceased by: his mother Anita Trevino; and his sister Sonya. He is survived by: his father Ernest Trevino; his wife Yvette; his children, John Trevino (Monica), Patrick Byrd, Ernest Trevino III and Gabriella Trevino; his grandchildren, Sonya, Elias and Eliana; and his siblings, Santiago "Jimmy" Trevino (Apolonia) and Angie Parra (Omar). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
