With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Joseph Horecky Jr. of Friendswood, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Horecky and Carl Joseph Horecky; his sister Beverley Jackson; his daughter Gayle Wonder; and his grandson Trevor Wonder.
He is survived by: his brother Earl W. Horecky; his wife Henrietta "Hank" Proby; his children, Jay Horecky (JoAnn), Laura Peterson (Cliff), Carl M. Horecky (Grace), Ruth Beaumont (John) and Rebecca Stout; and his grandchildren, Charlie Wonder, Chad Wonder, Nathan Peterson of Melissa Schneider, C. J, Sierra Smith and Emma Wells.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friendswood Friends Church (502 S Friendswood Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
