It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Janice Simpson Pope (Friendswood, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Herman Alexander "Alex" Pope; her children, Elizabeth Patrolia (Allan), Angela Clark (Daniel), Rebecca Pope (Allen Hebert) and Michael Pope (April); her brothers, Richard and Marlin Simpson; and her grandchildren, Grayson Hebert, Winter Clark, Joey Patrolia, Carter Hebert, Ian Clark and Seraphina Hebert.

Were it not for COVID, they would undoubtedly have traveled more.
