He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Tivis "Art" Pendergrass and Lora E. Pendergrass (McGuire); and his brothers, Arthur D. and Jimmy Glenn Pendergrass. He is survived by: his wife Saundra L. "Sandy" Blevins; his sons, Darryl Pendergrass (MariJo) of Arizona and Terry Pendergrass (Leslie) of Oregon; and his sisters, Dorisey Lee Reed of Mexia and Kay Elaine Adams of Fresno Ca. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, or a favorite charity.
