He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Escobedo; his children, Sara Tejeda (Marcos), Brian Rodriguez (Lisa) and Richard Escobedo Jr.; his grandchildren, Kristin Rowland (Rudy), Brianna Tejeda, Bailey Rodriguez, Kenzy Rodriguez, Leann, Gibo and Leyla Guerra; his great grandchild Scott Bentancur; his mother Estella Escobedo; and his siblings, Baldemar Jr., Frank, Demetrius, Eddie, Edmund, Blanca Mendoza (Arcadio) and Elizabeth Garza. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
