He is survived by: his children, Jose Guadalupe Rivera, Jr., Melissa Rivera Lockhart and Michelle Rivera; his siblings, Rosa Garza, Ernestina Delgado, Aurora Tovar, Lydia Vela and Raul Rivera; and his grandchildren, Johnnie Lockhart-Johnston, Elissa Lockhart, Amanda Rivera and Rachel Ramirez.
