It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jemenda Bede Collins of Fresno, Texas, born in Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Berkman J. and Belva Broussard. She is survived by: her children, Desiree Bradley (Darius) and Gerald Collins, Jr. of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Darius, Jr., Deonc and Daniel Bradley; her children, Alexis, Angel, Alaric and Chrislyn Collins; and her siblings, Betty Johnson (Keith) of Manhattan, Jervaise Larry, Delilah McClarty of Lafayette, Louisiana, DeAngeria McClarty of Atlanta, Georgia, Kenneth McClarty (Faye), Dallas McClarty of Franklin, Louisiana, Richard J. III (Shirley) of Baker Louisiana, Gordon McClarty (Linda) of Reserve, Louisiana and John Anthony (Paula) of Wake Forest. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.).
