Kennedy of Fresno, Texas; his parents, Helen Gray Mills and Frederick Charles Kennedy, Jr.; his stepfather John W. Mills; his siblings, Karen K. Bivens (P. K.) of Roanoke, VA, Linda K. Seibel (Wes) of Fincastle, VA, Lisa M. Ryan (Tony) of Bedford, VA. and Tim Kennedy (Kathy) of Roanoke, VA; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Lockard, Lindsey Watson, Kaitlyn Kennedy, Ryan Kennedy and Mark Brooks; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexis Jones, Margot Kennedy, Riker Watson and Blake Lockard; his great-aunt Frances C. Mills; and his cousins, Barbara M. Lee and Kenneth Lee.
