He was predeceased by: his grandson Hein; his siblings, Noel Escobar, Noelia Stewart, Maria Olivia Rodriguez and Otila Garcia; and his daughter-in-law Anne Marie Escobar.
He is survived by: his spouse Gloria Alicia Escobar of Freer; his children, Rodolfo C. Escobar (Hercie) of San Antonio, Rene R. Escobar (Mikki) of Germany, Ruben D. Escobar (Doris) of Hebbronville, Jose G. Escobar of Freer, Jorge L. Escobar (Leticia) of Freer, Gloria E. Perez (Ruben) of Freer, Rebecca Rogers (Gary) of Huron, Elsa Perez (Miguel) of Freer, Elisa Rodriguez (Horacio) of Freer and Sylvia Beltran (Rafael) of Freer; his sisters, Barbarita Laurel, Cruz Laurel of Hebbronville and Ernestina Laurel (Guadalupe) of San Antonio; and his sister-in-law Anita Escobar of McAllen. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
