It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodolfo Lichtenberger (Freer, Texas), who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Lichtenberger and Amalia Lozano Lichtenberger; and his siblings, Elodia L. Smithwick (Charles), Enriqueta L. Adami (Daniel Jr.), Reynaldo Lichtenberger (Dora), Lionel Lichtenberger (Margarita) and Enrique Lichtenberger.
He is survived by: his wife Dora E. Gonzalez; his children, Rosemary L. Stoney, Dr. Christine L. Marroquin (Rene, Jr.), Lucy Anne Lichtenberger-Caro (Dionicio) and Edward Lichtenberger (Madelyn); and his grandchildren, Aldo Cantu Jr., David Saenz, Nichole Stoney, Amanda Cantu, Rebecca Garza, Michele Stoney, Stacy Jackson, Holden Lichtenberger and Brody Lichtenberger. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we will be following all CDC and Government mandates and ask each guest to do so as well. We ask everyone to follow social distancing and wear masks inside the funeral home, church and cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a charitable contribution to be made in Rodolfo's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church, (Drawer B, Freer, Texas 78357).
