He was predeceased by: his wife Dominga A. Solis; his sons, Guadalupe Solis Jr. and Juan Hector Solis; his grandchildren, Michael Dennis Flynn and Lisa Marie Harvey; his daughter-in-law Joyce Esparza; and his siblings, Gilberto Solis, Fane, Amelia and Angelina Solis.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Brandon Hill; and his children, Ruben Esparza of Freer, Texas, Jose Oscar Esparza of Katy, Texas, Lilialdo Esparza (Nhieu) of Katy, Texas, Joel Soliz Sr. of Hitchcock, Texas, Maria Viola Sutton (Bobby) of League City, Texas and Belinda Hill (Brandon) of Texas City, Texas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren.
