It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guadalupe G. Alaniz (Freer, Texas), who passed away on July 1, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sandalio Alaniz; her son Ruben Martinez; and her brothers, Israel Garcia and Julio Garcia Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Diana Reyes of Robstown, Gloria Valdez of Corpus Christi, Elsa Perez Jr (Eduardo), Corpus Christi, Rachel A. Perez (Victor Laredo) of Freer, Ruby Garza (Jose) of Alice, Hector Reyes (Graciela) of Alice, Arturo Martinez (Ann) of Freer, Oscar Martinez of Freer, Alfredo Martinez (Jessica) of Freer and Orlando Martinez of Freer; and her brothers, Luis Garcia of Freer, Amador Garcia (Aurelia) of Freer, Adolfo Garcia (Paula) of Freer, Jose Garcia (Jenny) of Freer and Juan Moreno (Irene) of San Diego. She is also survived by mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
