He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Saenz and Rosa Cantu Saenz; and his siblings, Amelia Garcia (Jose), Delia Munoz (Ramiro), Margarita Sanchez (Felix), Rafael Saenz (Ofelia), Diego Saenz Sr. and Pablo Saenz Jr. Guadalupe.

He is survived by: his children, Leticia Garcia (Amado) of Freer, Nora Jean Saenz of The Woodlands, Guadalupe Saenz II (Melisa) of Freer, Wally of Freer and Desi Saenz (Tammy) of Freer; and the mother of his children Gloria Amelia Saenz of Freer, Texas.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
