He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby May Brister and Joseph Loris Rusling; and his siblings, Joseph Rusling (Lupe), Norman Rusling (Mary Alice) and Katie Short (James).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Joan Rusling of Freer, Texas; his children, Bruce Rusling (Debra) of Cleveland, Texas, Ray Rusling (Tara) of Huntsville, Texas, Ronnie Rusling (Robin) of Bolivar, Missouri, Roy Franke of Cuero, Texas, Kay Shisler (Jason) of Alvin, Texas, Dionna Rusling of Beaumont, Texas, Michelle Alejandro (Kino) of Freer, Texas and Bethany Salazar (Robert) of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his sister Marie Nelson of Rockport, Texas. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
