He is survived by: his wife Evangelina "Eva" Ponce of Freer, Texas; his daughters, Rosalinda (Gracia) of Freer, Texas, Hermelinda Lopez of Freer, Texas and Melinda Ponce of Freer, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Olivia Holt (George), Maria Ponce and Ricardo Fernandez; his grandchildren, Daniel Gracia, David Gracia, Melissa Dunlap (Charles), Rebecca Naranjo (Bobby), Eric Lopez (Melissa), Benny Alaniz Jr. (Serena), Marissa Pena and Ean Fontenot; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Dunlap, Makayla Lopez, Madison Lopez, Horacio Vidal, Arissa Vidal, K'Leb Vidal, Zak Hernandez, Jessica Alaniz, Kacey Alaniz and Joaquin Felix Alaniz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
