He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Tippen and Anita Tippen; and his brother Brian Allen Tippen. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Louise Creek Tippen; his daughters, Amanda Marie Tippen Wise (Matthew) and Kelley Deanne Tippen McArthur (Alan Pryor); and his grandchildren, Mason, Parker Wise, Kylee and Samson Loynachan. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
