He was predeceased by: his parents, Basilio "Cowboy" Sr. Moreno and Anita Moreno of Freeport; and his siblings, Abel, Rudy, Richard and Rosa.

He is survived by: his children, Abel Earl Moreno and Adrian Guadalupe Moreno; his wife Carolyn Lara Moreno; his sisters, Carmen, Eleanora, Geneva and Carolina; his grandchildren, Alena, Aaron, Ashlin, Ayden, Alexia, Ayson and Adelynn; his daughter-in-law Wanda; and his granddaughter-in-law Kinzie.
