It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucius L Lewis (Freeport, Texas), born in Jones Creek, Texas, who passed away on March 27, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joe, Celester, Moses, Jr., George Lewis, Tom Lewis, Mary Lewis, Loretta Few, Verlene Hobbs, Anna Saddler and Neva Smith; his children, Larry Lewis, Rhonda Lewis and Pauline Murray; and also Hosea Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Rosiland Edwards Lewis of Freeport; his children, Eddie Lewis (Charlene) of Houston, Eugene Lewis (Hazel) of Richmond, Antonio Edwards, Derrick Edwards of Freeport, Daphne Green, Melvenia Powell of Chicago, IL, Yolanda Bishop (Eddie) of Freeport, Michell Fulton of Houston and Karena Edwards of Houston; and his sisters-in-law, Myrtle Austin and Elaine Edwards. He is also survived by 24 grandsons, 28 grand-daughters, 32 great-great grandchildren.
