She is survived by: her former husband John Dean Hawes; her husband Marion Rhome; her children, Dwain Hawes (Helen) of Rio Medina, Dixie Stasney (Robert) of Seguin and Darryl Hawes of Yancey; and her sister Jonell Wiemers Taylor of Hondo. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
