It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonarda Whittington (Freeport, Texas), who passed away on August 8, 2018, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Florence Adams Kane and Janie Adams De Jesus (George); her granddaughters, Alexis Smith (Justin), Ashley Jesus and Alyssa De Jesus; and her great grandchildren, Gwendolyn Smith and Gabriella Smith. She is also survived by one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
