He was predeceased by: his wife Lee Louise McDaniel; his parents, Wilmer T McDaniel and Bessie Grady McDaniel; his sister Charlotte Gould; his grandson Stephen McDaniel; and his children-in-law, Vic Larocca and Astrid Karen McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny McDaniel (Debbie), Danny McDaniel (Patty) and Lee Ann Larocca; his grandchildren, Alex West (Carol), Corrin Graham (Venado), Hailey West, Sarah Garza (Chris), Andrew McDaniel, Jamie McDaniel and Austin McDaniel; and his great grandchildren, Raelyn Peddy, Azlee Peddy, Kathryn West and Elizabeth West.
