He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Emery and Mary Jane Place; his wife Ella Place; his son Jerry Emanuel Place, Jr.; and his grandson Daniel Emanuel Salinas.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Lee Place, Bryne Keith Place, Charles Emery Place and Jane Estelle Place-Montez (Daren); and his brother George Hudson Place. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dixon Funeral Home-Angleton (2025 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
