He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Hernández and Eutemia Hernández (Leija). He is survived by: his wife Laura Hernandez; his children, Norma Garza (Lupe) and Fernando Hernandez, Jr. (Maria); and his grandchildren, Leah, Layla, Lindssey, Lilian, Edgar, Aleah and Laura.
