Edward Keith Barnett Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Keith Barnett Sr. of Freeport, Texas, who passed away on April 2, 2022 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Talmadge and Lovie Marie Barnett; and his uncle Jack Barnett. He is survived by: his children, Heather Hardin of Rockport, TX, Holly Kramer of Brazoria, TX and Edward "Keith" Barnett II of Georgetown, TX.; his wife Debra Stifflemire Barnett; his daughter-in-law Kara; his grandchildren, Bryanna, Celine, Cadence, Elizabeth, Natalee, Kylee and Braiidyn; his brother Clinton Barnett; his sister-in-law Robin; his sisters, Dawn and Ruth; his nephews, Joshua Barnett and Kevin Whatley; and his uncles, James Barnett, Gerald Barnett and Dewey Barnett. He is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in Keith's honor to the Texas Fallen Officer Foundation, which provides aid and assistance to officers and the families of police and other law enforcement officers killed or critically injured in the line-of-duty throughout the State of Texas.
