Wilbert Ransleben Obituary
We bid farewell to Wilbert Ransleben of Fredericksburg, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025 at the age of 90. Wilbert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alwin Gustov and Mathilda Mund Ransleben; and his siblings, Calvin Ransleben, Elroy Ransleben, Dayton Ransleben and Annie Mae Isenberg.
He is survived by: his former wife Emma Jean Duecker; his wife Sandra Ransleben Davis of Fredericksburg; his grandchildren, Meredith Davis of Fredericksburg, Cassie of Temple, Aisley of Temple, Brennan of Temple and Lera Ransleben of Temple; his great grandchild Camilla; and his siblings-in-law, Betty (Calvin Ransleben), Rosie Mills of Felicity, OH, Verdi (Edward Welborn), Elgin A. Duecker of Fredericksburg and Aubrey Mueller of Burnet. He is also survived by three children: two daughters, one son.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church (115 E San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Wilbert's memory to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Gillespie County Youth Livestock Show Association, Gillespie County Fair Association Scholarship Fund, Hermann Sons Lodge 41, or to the charity of your choice.
