It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Zimmermann of Fredericksburg, Texas, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wayne Zimmermann to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Zimmermann and Louise Zimmermann; his brother Eugene O. Zimmermann (Naomi); and also, Erwin and Alma Nixon.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Helene Nixon; his children, Michael Wayne Zimmermann (Kryn) and Amy Sue Clayton (Joe); his granddaughters, Erika, Monika Zimmermann, Ashley and Caroline Clayton; and his brothers-in-law, Nick Nixon of Fredericksburg and Barry Nixon (Pat) of Pearland, Texas.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Gillespie County Fair and Festivals Association Scholarship Fund, Hill Country Memorial Hospital, Fredericksburg Tennis Association, or to the charity of your choice.
