He is survived by: his wife Catherine Crittell Kuhlmann; his children, D. J. Herbort and Paige Kuhlmann; his parents, Clifford Kuhlmann and Lynette Kuhlmann; his brother Don Kuhlmann of Fredericksburg; and his nephews, Kole and Kade Kuhlmann.
