She was predeceased by: her parents, Erie Birck and Margaret Ersch Birck; her sister Joyce Ann Birck; her brother-in-law AJ Weinheimer; and her nephew Scott Weinheimer.

She is survived by: her children, Glenn Wayne (Kim Jung) and Ginger Gail (Steve Burow); her husband Leroy Jung; her daughter Debbie Alkire of Austin; her grandchildren, Joshua Jung (Aero Warren), Melissa Jung of Temple, Michael (Jamey Jung), Miranda (Sean Harris), Michaela Alkire of Lakewood, CO, Chelsea (Guy Chadwick), Kasey Burow of Elizabeth City, NC and Brett Burow of Odessa; her great grandchildren, Noah Jung, Elara Jung, Evren Jung, Kannon Jung, Kaylee Jung, Layla Chadwick and Benji Harris of Las Vegas; her siblings, Kenneth (Betty Birck) and Josie Weinheimer of Fredericksburg; her niece Sheila Bibler of Fredericksburg; and her great-nieces, Lacey, Berto Sanchez of Mason and Lindey Bibler of Conroe.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church (113 E San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be given to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Methodist Hill Country Hospice or the charity of your choice.
