It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Kearns Hormuth of Fredericksburg, Texas, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Kasper and Louise Evers Kasper; her husband Donald Ray Hormuth; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Ray Wilkinson. She is survived by: her sister Annabel Wilkinson of Fredericksburg; her nieces, Carrie Beaird of Frisco and Cristal Ristau (Jeremy) of Fredericksburg; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sidney, Shelby Beaird, Guy, Beau and Ladd Ristau.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (110 W Austin St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in her memory to the Doss V.F.D., Shirley and Donald Hormuth Endowment Scholarship at Texas Lutheran University, Bethany Pre School building fund or the charity of your choice.
