He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph James Hubbell and Doris Smith; and his brother-in-law LaVerne (Reid Houy). He is survived by: his wife Ginger Heimann; his daughter Janelle Hubbell; his grandchildren, Brianna, Evan and Julia; his daughter Katelyn Hubbell; his stepdaughter Allison Turrentine (Wayne); his son Sterling; his stepson Eric Cornehl; and his sisters, Patsy Hahne, Jeannie (Temple Klett), Carol (Gary Bruehler) and Janice (Donald Mansfield). He is also survived by uncles and aunts and many friends.
