He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sagebiel and Ida Sagebiel; and his siblings, Viola, Paula, Ewald, Esther, Ruben, Hildegard, Nolan and Erwin.
He is survived by: his wife Gussie Lou Sagebiel; his children, Rebecca Sagebiel Kendrick and Stephen Sagebiel (Holly); his sister Elsie Koennecke; and his grandchildren, Amber Kendrick, Hannah Kendrick, Joshua Kendrick, Emma Sagebiel, Nicolas Sagebiel Kathryn Foshee and Gabriel Foshee Emily Foshee.
