It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ocie Knutson of Fredericksburg, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sallye Slaughter; his son Sam Houston Slaughter Knutson; his parents, Lewis Knutson and Helen Knutson; and his siblings, Virgie Williamson, Jessie Etheredge, Berta Hudspeth, Kenneth Knutson (Pete), Edward Knutson, Lonnie Knutson, L. E. Knutson and Jean Dale Knutson.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Mary Jane Alexander; his stepgrandchildren, Michael Alexander of Humble, TX, Melinda Alexander of Hawaii, Davin and Amy Alexander of Waco, TX; and his sister Helen Parker. He is also survived by 5 step great grandchildren, two sisters-in-laws and a brother-in-law as well as 20 surviving nieces and nephews and 46 great nieces and nephews and even more great great nieces and nephews.
