He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Marinez Recendiz; his children, Maria Aguliar Matrinez (Juan Mejia) of Fredericskburg, Patricia Aguilar Martinez of Fredericksburg, Martin Aguilar Martinez (Andrea Hernandez) of Fredericksburg and Antonio Aguilar Martinez of Fredericksburg; and his siblings, Gabriel Aguilar Elizondo, Enrique Aguilar Elizondo and Maria Luisa Aguilar Elizondo.

A rosary was held on Monday, November 13th 2023 at 7:00 PM. Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fredericksburg Funeral Home (2278 S US Hwy 87, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (304 W San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
