She is survived by: her sister Brenda Lehmann; her great-nephews, Theodore and Walter Richard; and her caregivers, Barbara Segner, Alan Barrera, Olivia Garza and Dorothy Klaerner Moellering. She is also survived by her niece and niece.

Since Marjie loved animals, especially baby animals, and was also an advocate of "spay and neuter," memorials may be given in her memory to Pedernales Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) of Fredericksburg, the City of Fredericksburg Animal Shelter and Fredericksburg SPCA.
