She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Sauer and Paul Sauer of Doss, Texas.; her husband George Garretson; her brother Stanley Sauer; and her sister-in-law Virginia.
She is survived by: her sister Eileen Sauer Brodbeck (Gary Brodbeck) of Doss Texas; her daughters, Susan Todd of San Antonio and Stacey Garretson of Chicago, IL; and her granddaughters, Amy Fletcher of Austin and Tara Montgomery of Oakland. She is also survived by four nieces, one nephew, and many cousins and lifelong friends.
Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Zion Lutheran Church, Friends of Doss School, and Methodist Hill Country Hospice.
