With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leota Rode of Fredericksburg, Texas, who passed away on July 16, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Rode of Mary's Catholic Church; her sisters, Mary Ann Pankratz and Doralene Engel; and her parents, Armin Engel and Franciska Pehl Engel.
She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Glenn Rode (Cynthia Irene Rode), William Dean Rode (Kelli Parker Rode) and Edward Wayne Rode (Kelly Christene Rode); her siblings, Julia O'Dowd, Wiona Engel and Armin Engel (Cindy Engel); her sisters-in-law, Jo Ella Lewis and Ilene Crenwelge (Roger Crenwelge); her grandchildren, Kathy Dawn Flanagan (Will Hogan Flanagan), Eric David Rode (Miranda Ellen Rode), Brent Travis Rode (Michelle Irene Rode), Chad Colton Rode (Trista Ann Rode) and Eli Clint Rode; and her great grandchildren, Addison Leigh Rode, Sutton Brooke Rode, Hogan Rode Flanagan and Thomas Elgin Flanagan.
