With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leon Rivera of Fredericksburg, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Rivera, Sr. and Santos Aleman Rivera; and his siblings, Jose Rivera, Lupita Rivera, Juanita Guevara, Carlos Rivera, Jr., Jesse Rivera, Joe Rivera and Gloria Gonzales.
He is survived by: his children, Leon Rivera, Jr. (Patricia), Alicia Rivera and Hortencia Rivera; his siblings, Alvino Rivera (Martha), Luis Rivera (Linda), Estella Condarco (Eddie), Amy Martinez (Mike), Johnny Rivera and James Rivera (Elizabeth); and his siblings-in-law, Rosa Rivera, Rumalda Rivera, Anabel Trevino and Reyes Guevara. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (304 W San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Peterson Hospice or Saint Mary's Catholic Church.
