He was predeceased by: his father Matthew Frank; his daughter Meagan Gayle Pyka; and his brother Bruce "Nehi" Pyka. He is survived by: the mother of his children Naomi Pyka of Fredericksburg; his son Nick (Jennifer Pyka); his grandson Jackson Pyka of Austin; his sister Teresa (Butch Welgehausen) of Fredericksburg; his siblings-in-law, Dana (Bruce "Nehi" Pyka), Charlie of Fredericksburg, Jeanne Kiehne of Fredericksburg, Greg of Fredericksburg, Eileen Kaderli of Fredericksburg, Keith of Fredericksburg and Sandra Weinheimer of Fredericksburg; and his wife Naomi Scharnhorst. He is also survived by numerous friends, family, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in his memory to St. Mary's School Endowment Fund, or to the charity of your choice.
