He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Usener and Anita Bernhard Usener; his sister Laquita Usener; and his parents-in-law, Keyser Bierschwale and Leola Bierschwale Hoffmann.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Bierschwale Usener; and his sister-in-law Jennifer Jones Bierschwale. He is also survived by 2 step great granddaughters, 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
