He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Knopp and Mary Flint Knopp; his wife Agnes Knopp; and his siblings, David Knopp and Irene Luckenbach Emmons.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Chase, Paul (Mona Knopp), Yvonne Cox, Duane Knopp, Susan Forsyth, Colleen (Jim Luikart) and Joanna (Chris Tondre); and his sister-in-law Judy Knopp. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Mary's School Endowment Fund of Fredericksburg, Texas, American Legion (Post 244, Fredericksburg, Texas), or the charity of one's choice.
