He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Martin and Magdalene Cyva Melcer; his wife Doreen May Melcer; and his sisters, Clara Moore and Magdlen Melcer.
He is survived by: his children, Diana, Mark Whitson of Austin, Wayne and Kay Melcer of Fredericksburg; his grandchildren, Jacob, Katie Melcer, Eden Melcer, Knowl Richardson, Laura Saura, Harmony, Jess Shaw, Whitney, Brian Leary, Cameron, Sarah Melcer, Karson and Wes Melcer; his great grandchildren, Kayne, Evan, Connor, George, Fiona, Payton and Korben; and his sisters, Ann Adlong and Marjorie Chapin.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (304 W San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624).
