He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Kunz Sr. and Norma Kunz; his brother Gerald; and his in-laws, J. D. and Willie Rae Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife LaNell; his children, Edmund Keith Kunz (Mary) and Amy Gilbert (William); his granddaughters, Alyssa Hamm (Jack), Morgan Kunz (Montgomery Smith), Lyndsey Gilbert and Landry Gilbert; and his siblings, Josiepha Caughlin (Danny), Marialyce Simmons (Edward) and Kevin (Denise).
