He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lou Danz Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Schmidt of Fredericksburg, Three; his grandchildren, Megan, Chad Druen-Miller, Rowe of Fredericksburg, Eugene, Leslie Schmidt, Connor, Whitley of Harper, Chenoa Schmidt of Fredericksburg, Alexis, Ryan Pemelton, Kennedy and Jace of McAllen; and his father Herbert L. Schmidt of Fredericksburg, Three. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in his memory to the Fredericksburg V.F.D., Gillespie County Fair Association or to the charity of your choice.
