He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Burke and Viola Slater Burke; and his granddaughter Jennifer Burke. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ellen Eden; his children, Max Burke (Cindy) of San Antonio, TX and Shari Giblet (Lawrence) of Cordell, OK; his grandchildren, Alexander Burke (Kate) of Overland Park, KS and Dasa Bland (Collin) of Mustang, OK; his child Laci Stegall (Garrett) of Burns Flat, OK; his great grandchildren, Caidance Chrisman, Gage Stegall, Camree Chrisman, Emma Stegall, Bennett Burke and Hudson Burke; and his siblings, Ronnie Burke (Joanie), Jimmy Burke and Judy Koper (Henry). He is also survived by his family, friends, classmates, neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to the American Cancer; Society, The American Heart Association or The Cordell Academic Foundation.
