He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ersch Hirt of Fredericksburg; his mother-in-law Harriet Ersch Klett of Fredericksburg; his nieces, Julianna Easter, Maris Lee of Lilburn and Georgia; his brothers-in-law, Randy Ersch and Peter Nixon; his stepchild Timothy; his granddaughters, Grayci and Hope Jung of Johnson City; and his stepgranddaughter Kelsey Dellinger of Lexington.
