She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Smith and Minnie Matheny Smith; her husband Fred "Monk" Brumbalow; and her siblings, Benny Smith and Lorene Hite.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Walts (Larry), Mike Brumbalow (Susie) and Pat Brumbalow (Judy); and her sister Tressia Faucett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
