She was predeceased by: her husband John Whisenant; and her brothers, Charlie Gilmore, James E. Gilmore and Charles "Chick" Young. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ward (James) of Fred and Linda Whisenant of Fred; her grandchildren, Gary Ward (Lisa) and Paula Young; her great grandchildren, Aaron Ward of Silsbee, Beth Slaydon (Tyler) of Silsbee, Zane Young of Silsbee and Jessica LeFloor of Silsbee; her siblings, Leston Gilmore of Wharton and Betty Vandiver (Bill) of Oklahoma City; and also Pentecostal Lighthouse Church.
