Melva Richter Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melva Richter of Fred, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Woelfel and Adele Woelfel (Lehman); her parents-in-law, Martin and Elsie Richter (Patschke); and her brother-in-law Eugene Richter.

She is survived by: her husband Fred; her children, Vincent Richter (Mary) of Thrall, Vickie Korenek (Alan) of Rockdale, Darlene Rippamonti (Anthony) of Victoria and Lavonne Berdoll (Lance) of Bastrop; her great grandchildren, Gretchen Richter Rodgers (Brandon), Cora, Maia Richter (Mitch Box), Maggie of Temple, Randy Korenek (Matilda Sordia), Liam of Jarrell, Garrett Korenek (Lani Denman), Brooklynn Korenek, Brantley Denman of Franklin, Hannah Rippamonti of Victoria, Kaylee Berdoll, Travis Berdoll (Kaitlyn) and Emma of Bastrop; her siblings, Dee Richter (Ed) of Kyle and Arthur Woelfel of Taylor; her siblings-in-law, Harry Richter (Judy) of Kingsland, Alice Glazener of Kingsland and Diane Locklin (Scott) of Thorndale; her grandsons, Brandon Rodgers, Mitch Box, Randy Korenek, Garrett Korenek and Travis Berdoll; and her nephew Steve Richter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
