She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Contreras and Canuta Contreras; her daughters, Nancy Villarreal and Mary Jane Villarreal; her brothers, Miguel Contreras, Rigo Contreras, Rudy Contreras, Sr. and Jose Angel "Champ" Contreras; and her brothers-in-law, Johnny Del Valle and George Rivera Villarreal.
She is survived by: her husband Fred R. Villarreal; her sons, Oscar Michael Villarreal, Richard Villarreal, Herman Villarreal (Margie), James Villarreal and Paul Villarreal (Lydia); and her siblings, Irma Del Valle, Johnny Contreras (Mary), Manuel Contreras (Sulema) and Albert Contreras (Gladys). She is also survived by grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
