She was predeceased by: her parents, Nestor Barrera and Zobeida M. Barrera; her siblings, Abel Barrera, Felipe Barrera, Edmundo Barrera and Catarina B. Garcia; and her brothers-in-law, Carlos Garcia, Sr. and Ismael "Mike" Montelongo, Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Fred Guajardo; and her sister Minerva Montelongo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
